Our Process

Our 6 Step Translation Process

1. Client contact
2. Project preparation
3. Translation
4. Review
5. Quality assurance
6. Delivery

Step 1 – Client contact

Project Manager (PM) talks with client to assess project and discuss all initial questions. PM requests all existing databases, translation memories, glossaries and reference materials available from client.

Step 2 – Project Preparation

1] PM assigns translators best suited for specific project
2] Review of reference material and potential problems
3] Creation of glossary
4] Instructions are prepared for translator

Step 3 – Translation

Project is sent to translator. Project Manager remains in contact with translator throughout the entire process and any questions from translator are immediately forwarded to client.

Step 4 – Review

Translation is returned to Project Manager and files are sent to proofreader who discusses any/all changes with translator.

Step 5 – Quality Assurance

Once the file has been reviewed by proofreader, our QA person checks for proper formatting, makes sure all initial concerns were addressed and that the glossary was utilized during the translation.

Step 6 – Delivery

Project is delivered to client via email, ftp upload or as a hard copy.
