Experience
For the past 10 years our Trainers have provided TRADOS training to small and medium sized businesses and freelance language professionals. Our trainers are former TRADOS employees and freelance training specialists.
Goals
Our focus during the training is to teach people how to best use TRADOS to accomplish their day to day translation and project management tasks. This means that every training is unique and allows the training’s participants to choose their own focus during the training. However, every training includes a working overview of the basic translation and project management process with TRADOS. Our goal is to get you up and running as fast as possible.
Personalized Training Sessions
As ex-TRADOS employees and current freelance professionals, our trainers know that TRADOS presents a difficult and sometimes confusing learning curve. While other trainers focus on technical aspects of the software using pre-designed training files we prefer to work with actual files used in your day to day work. This allows you to directly relate what you learn in the training to what you’ll be doing on a daily basis. This also allows us to discuss any special issues that may arise from complex files not normally used in training. We find that people leave the session with a much better understanding of the software and a reduced need for follow-up support.
We currently provide trainings in person at your office or via online meeting sessions. We provide basic, advanced and customized Trados 2007, Trados Studio 2009 and MultiTerm training, consultation and troubleshooting for:
- Individual translators
- Translation agencies/departments
- Small groups
- Translator associations
Training on other Translation Memory Tools
We also offer training and support for SDLX, Transit, Déjà Vu and Wordfast.
